"Words cannot adequately express my appreciation for you and all that you have done. You have been a continual support throughout this pregnancy, birth and afterwards and your presence gave me so much encouragement and strength. You helped me feel that I could stick to my birth plan no matter how intense things got. I don't know what I would have done during the birth without you there. Thank you so much."

I offer a complimentary interview for you to meet with me and ask any questions you may have about my services. This meeting also allows the opportunity to get to know each other a little better and to determine our compatibility. Interviews usually last from thirty minutes up to an hour and are usually done somewhere central between our two locations.
When you hire me as your doula you will receive:
Resource Handbook: Clients will be given a resource handbook after the contract signing, which includes information about pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. This is returned by the postpartum visit.
Two prenatal visits: The prenatal visits are our opportunity to get to know one another better and they usually last anywhere from 1 - 2 hours. We may cover topics, including birth plans, comfort measures and medical interventions. You will also recieve birth art activities, relaxation exercises and other at home work.
**Prenatal visits are not meant to replace childbirth education classes.**
Unlimited telephone and email support throughout pregnancy: You can call me anytime with questions or just to chat, whichever you need.
Lending Library: All clients can checkout books within my lending library. Only one may be checked out at a time.
Emotional and physical support during labor: I will come to your home to help through early labor depending on distance. I will also stay with you for 1-2 hours after you give birth to help get you settled.
One postpartum visit 1-2 weeks after the birth: At this visit I can answer any questions that you may still have and also take the opportunity to reflect on your birth experience.
At this time my fee is discounted at $300.00, with the obligation that you and your caregiver fill out an evaluation form after the birth so that it may be submitted to DONA for my certification. At the time the contract is signed I will require a deposit of $125.00 that will be non-refundable. The balance of $175.00 will be due at the 2nd prenatal visit. At this time I am attending hospital births and homebirths in Douglasville, GA and areas wthin an hour of me. Call or email with inquiries.
